MJ Abbott offers a range of specialist services which complement our other activities. We offer an extensive range of electrical services, we specialise in electrical control systems, and we offer surveying and planning services.
Electrical services
MJ Abbott Limited is a full scope NICEIC approved electrical contractor and our team of electrical engineers undertake a wide range of electrical work, including design, installation, repair, maintenance and testing.
We offer a full commercial and industrial electrical service, ranging from electrical fault finding to the installation and maintenance of electrical installations for commercial, industrial and agricultural premises.
To enable us to work on electrical installations at domestic premises, we are also members of the NICEIC/BRCS Part P Notification Scheme. Any domestic work completed is carried out within the scope of Part P of the Building Regulations. We can also carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports to BS7671:2008.
Electrical control systems
We design and build bespoke control panels for many water-related applications including clean water and sewage pumps, water features, and for the hire fleets of national pump hire companies. Our engineers have extensive experience in telemetry systems which can be used to monitor remote unmanned equipment such as sewage pump stations and water reservoirs, and raise the alarm if a fault occurs.
Surveying & planning applications
Our expert personnel use the latest satellite-assisted surveying equipment to carry out full 3D topographical surveys or simple 2D as-laid records. The technology integrates seamlessly with our design office software to produce plans which are accurate to the finest detail.
Our design office team can assist with planning applications and meeting other regulatory requirements.
