Upper Horfield Primary School, Bristol

MJ Abbott secured the project following a tender process with Bristol City Council's main contractor, MJ Church (Plant) Ltd.

The project comprised the construction of a single 3G artificial football pitch in accordance with the specification produced by Bristol City Council.

MJ Abbott carried out the following scope of works:

• Trim and grade sub-base provided by the main contractor, MJ Church
• Import and spread 50mm depth of dynamic stone regulating layer
• Installation of new 40mm depth synthetic carpet complete with sand and rubber infill
• Lines cut in as required.

MJ Abbott continue to provide maintenance support for the new pitch.
