MJ Abbott secured the contract to install primary drainage within Holes 1, 3, 4, 5, 15, 16 and 17.

The scope of work comprised:

• Installation of 800 linear metres of 160mm diameter perforated main drains outfalling into existing ponds.
• Installation of 3,100 linear metres of 80mm diameter perforated lateral drains within fairway areas. The lateral drains were spaced between 5 metres and 8 metres centres depending on the ground conditions.
