Rye Golf Club, East Sussex

MJ Abbott were awarded the contract to install new fairways watering and a water storage tank following a tender and interview process. The irrigation system design and tender process was undertaken by Giles Wardle of Irriplan.

The scope of work included:

• 300m³ capacity Vulcan water storage tank
• Installation of new fairway valves, sprinklers and pipework including connection to existing mainlines and cable
• Refurbishment of existing control system and moisture sensor system
• The system utilises Rain Bird irrigation equipment.

MJ Abbott continues to maintain the irrigation system.
