Royal Porthcawl Golf Club, South Wales

MJ Abbott secured the contract to install a new irrigation system at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club following a tender and interview process. The irrigation system design and tender process was undertaken by Adrian Mortram of Robin Hume Associates.

The scope of work included:

• 250m³ Vulcan water storage tank
• Installation of mainlines pipework and replacement valves to greens, fairways, tees and walkways
• The system utilises Toro irrigation equipment
• The system includes the Toro GDC Site Pro control system, weather station and radio remote control.
