Construction of SISGrass hybrid turf pitch at Madejski Stadium (now Select Car Leasing Stadium)
The following scope of works was carried out in accordance with the specification produced by Andy Cole of iTurf management:
- Excavation and disposal of 350mm depth from existing pitch area
- Trim retained drainage gravel layer to pitch levels
- Installation of slit drainage, irrigation and undersoil heating system
- Import and spread new gravel raft top up, lower sand and upper rootzone layers
- Installation of amendments, preparation and seeding of pitch surface
- Installation of SISGrass hybrid pitch reinforcement system
