Northwood Golf Club, Middlesex

Northwood Golf Club were looking for a solution to an erosion problem to the embankment at the 9th Tee. MJ Abbott submitted a proposal and were awarded the work.

The scope of work comprised:

• Clean out and re-grade existing stream base
• Installation of stream diversion pipework
• Excavate foundations and install 10 no upright steel H beams within concrete foundations
• Installation of sleeper walling
• Re-shape existing stream banks to tie in with new structure
• Preparation and turfing of working area.
