Northop Golf & Country Club, Chester

MJ Abbott secured the contract to install primary drainage to the fairways of Holes 4, 10, 11, 15 and 16. The drainage system was designed and specified by MJ Abbott.

The scope of work included :

• Installation of 300 linear metres of 160mm diameter, 750 linear metres of 100mm diameter and 3,100 linear metres of 80mm diameter perforated primary drainage within fairway areas
• All drainage outfalled to ditch outfalls within the golf course
• All machinery features grassland tyres, keeping surface compaction to a minimum.
