Construction of SISGrass hybrid turf pitch
The following scope of works was carried out in accordance with the specification produced by the STRI and in collaboration with industry partners Premier Pitches Ltd:
- Removal and disposal of 200mm depth of existing pitch profile, comprising original fibre surface
- Re-grade existing lower sand profile, check original drainage slits and re-establish original pitch levels, import and spread new 100mm layer of sand and 100mm depth of rootzone
- Installation of new irrigation system to pitch
- Installation of amendments, preparation and seeding of pitch surface
- Installation of SISGrass hybrid pitch reinforcement system
