  • Hydraulic trench beam and sheet piles were used to support the unstable ground during excavation
  • Temporary 6” dewatering pumps employed to dewater the excavation
  • Installation of WC facilities with disabled access
  • Installation of mains water supply with relevant water supply byelaws compliance
  • Installation of water storage tank and booster pumps
  • Installation of hydrant points around the Pony Sales Yard
  • Installation of floodlights and external power points

He commented: "From conception to completion MJ Abbott managed the project with determination and accuracy and overcame all the hurdles associated with working in the New Forest, including the unexpected high ground water table and unstable ground conditions. All credit to MJ Abbott Limited who were flexible and professional in all aspects of the project."
