Malone Golf Club, Belfast, Northern Ireland

MJ Abbott were contracted to design and install a new irrigation system for the 9 hole Edenderry Course, one of the three 9 hole courses making up the 27 holes at Malone Golf Club near Belfast.

The scope of work included:

• Linking in to existing pump station and water storage facility
• Installation of mainlines comprising 125mm, 90mm and 63mm diameter pipework complete with pressure regulated connections into the Drumbridge and Ballydrain Courses
• Installation of replacement irrigation to greens, approaches, fairways and tees
• The system utilises Toro irrigation equipment
• The system includes the Toro GDC Site Pro control system.
