High Post Golf Club, Wiltshire

MJ Abbott secured the contract to install a new irrigation system at High Post Golf Club following a tender and interview process. The irrigation design and tender process was undertaken by Adrian Mortram of Robin Hume Associates.

The scope of work included:

• 22m³/hr pump station designed and manufactured by MJ Abbott, with pump suction from existing water tank
• Fabrication and installation of new timber pumphouse building
• Installation of mainlines pipework and replacement irrigation to greens, approaches and tees
• The system utilises Rain Bird irrigation equipment.
• The system includes Rain Bird Stratus LT control system and radio remote control.

MJ Abbott continues to maintain the irrigation system.
