Construction of SISGrass hybrid turf pitch
The following scope of works was carried out in accordance with the specification produced by PSD and in collaboration with industry partners Premier Pitches Ltd:
- Removal and disposal of 1,600m³ of existing pitch profile, comprising original plastic reinforcement fibres
- Re-grade existing lower sand profile to re-establish original pitch levels, import and spread new 100mm layer of sand and 100mm depth of rootzone
- Preparation and seeding of pitch surface
- Installation of SISGrass hybrid pitch reinforcement system
- Replacement of pitch surrounds synthetic carpet
