Taking a responsible approach to Health and Safety

MJ Abbott has always put the health, safety and welfare of its employees at the top of its list of priorities. Last week another three drainage engineers attended a high risk confined space training course at a specialist training centre in Dorset.

MJ Abbott's drainage engineers are trained in confined space entry

The drainage engineers were trained and assessed on the risks involved in entering and working in confined spaces, which is a frequent requirement when working in the drainage industry.

Over the course of three days, the engineers undertook a series of classroom-based, theoretical and practical exercises, followed by a formal assessment, to successfully pass the training course.

MJ Abbott are fully qualified for all works associated with drainage installations, repairs and refurbishment. As well as years of experience, we offer fully trained and qualified drainage engineers holding certification for Street Works, Confined Space Entry, and relevant categories under the CPCS and CSCS schemes.
