MJ Abbott's new Mercedes vans take to the road
Leading specialist contractor MJ Abbott Limited has recently purchased thirteen new Mercedes-Benz vans, in a mixture of replacements, upgrades and additions to its extensive fleet of light commercial vehicles.

MJ Abbott has taken delivery of four Sprinter 313CDI panel vans, one Sprinter 313CDI crew van, two Sprinter 313CDI 4x4 panel vans, one Sprinter 313CDI dropside van, two Vito 116CDI Dualiner vans, and three Citan 109CDI panel vans.
Adrian Abbott, MJ Abbott's Technical Director, commented: "While the standard and crew style Sprinters are straightforward replacements, we have gone for two 4x4 Sprinters to improve the off-road capability of our electrical and civil engineering departments."
"The new dropside van has a longer body than the one it replaces, and will be much more versatile as an additional delivery vehicle for our direct sales operation," added Adrian. "The Citan is a brand new model introduced by Mercedes to compete in the small van sector. It will be interesting to see how it performs alongside our current fleet of Peugeot vans."
