MJ Abbott's 50th Anniversary social event enjoyed by all
To mark its 50th year in business and more than 20 years attending the annual BTME show, MJ Abbott hosted an enjoyable evening at speciality Spanish tapas bar and restaurant La Tasca in Harrogate on Wednesday 21st January, following a busy middle day at BTME 2015.

Directors Jonathan Abbott, Adrian Abbott, Steve Briggs and Mick Regan were joined by Chairman and founder Michael (MJ) Abbott, Contracts Managers Nathan George, Graham Humphries and Jim Price, Site Manager Mike Heath, Office Manager Jules Simmons and Surveyor Tom Kelly in hosting the evening for more than 80 guests including golf course managers and their assistants, golf course architects, sports turf consultants, and turf industry friends.
Managing Director Jonathan Abbott commented: "It was a most relaxed and enjoyable evening, and a great way to share the celebrations of our 50th Anniversary with our friends in the turf industry. The bar and restaurant at La Tasca was very well suited for this kind of event, and provided just the right environment for everyone to circulate and discuss the issues of the day - not all golf-related of course!"
