MJ Abbott orders JCB machines at excavator event

JCB welcomed customers to its World Headquarters for a special excavator event to showcase just how far JCB has come with the ever more iconic JCB excavator.

JCB unveiled the latest developments, specifically focusing on Aggregate, Waste & Construction industries. This displayed JCB’s commitment to heavy excavators through extensive investment in design, manufacturing and testing.

The event was attended by MJ Abbott's Technical Director, Adrian Abbott, who placed an order with dealer Holt JCB for two new JCB JS130LC 13 tonne excavators to complement MJ Abbott's extensive excavator fleet. The machines will come equipped with JCB's latest EcoMAX T4i engines, which meet Stage IIIB/Tier 4i legislation without the need for bulky DPF or SCR units.

Adrian Abbott said: "We are very pleased to add these JS130LC excavators to our fleet. They have the latest engine technology, and the ability to specify them to be factory prepared to fit the Engcon tiltrotator attachment that we use on all our larger excavators was also a significant factor in our decision to go with JCB."
