MJ Abbott holds Training Day for whole workforce
MJ Abbott Limited has held a Health and Safety Training Day for its whole workforce at its head office in Dinton, reinforcing its commitment to working safely and investing in its most important asset, its employees.

In the morning session, over 100 employees and key subcontractors were given a health and safety awareness presentation by Chris Chapman of the Building Safety Group, who have been MJ Abbott's health and safety advisers for almost ten years.
The workforce was then divided into four groups for the remainder of the day, and attended training sessions on project management and quality, surveying and the use of laser levels, manual handling, and plant & vehicle maintenance.
Mick Regan, Operations Director, commented: "The costs and logistical problems of organising a whole company training day should not be underestimated, however investing in the health, safety and welfare of our employees is much more important. I have received some very positive feedback from a large number of employees about how well it was organised and how they appreciated and enjoyed the content of the day."
