MJ Abbott is delighted to announce that we have achieved Gold accredited membership as part of The 5% Club’s highly respected 2025-26 Employer Audit Scheme.

This prestigious recognition celebrates our ongoing dedication to nurturing talent through “earn and learn” opportunities – including Apprenticeships, Graduate Programmes, and Sponsored Student Placements – which empower our people to grow, learn, and thrive.

Achieving Gold status marks a proud milestone in our journey to invest in our people and their potential. It reflects our belief that by supporting every individual to reach their full capability, we strengthen not only our business but also the communities and industries we serve.

Through hands-on learning and development, we are shaping the next generation of skilled professionals – providing meaningful career pathways and ensuring our workforce is ready for the future.

As a proud member of The 5% Club, we join a movement of more than 1,200 forward-thinking employers who are championing inclusive, accessible, and impactful workplace learning. Collectively, members support over 2 million employees, with more than 121,000 engaged in “earn and learn” programmes. The rigorous Employer Audit independently validates our achievements and future ambitions – recognising our commitment to social mobility, diversity, and inclusion.

Out of this distinguished group, MJ Abbott is honoured to be recognised as one of The 5% Club’s outstanding Gold Members. This accolade places us among the UK’s leaders in workforce development, showcasing our passion for creating learning environments where every colleague can succeed.

We are proud to be a Gold Member of The 5% Club, committed to investing in the next generation by dedicating at least 5% of our workforce to ‘earn & learn’ positions, actively futureproofing our industry by investing in the development and growth of our people. By nurturing talent today, we’re building a stronger, more resilient tomorrow.

Senior HR advisor Jackie Mitchell Assoc CIPD and Marketing Assistant Steph Duffy, were delighted to attend The 5% Club Celebration Event on December 3rd at the iconic Mansion House, London. This special occasion recognises organisations who have achieved accredited membership for 2025/26 and featured the presentation of the prestigious UK National Employer Earn & Learn Awards.

Their dedication to creating rich and varied ‘earn and learn’ opportunities sets a remarkable example.
