MJ Abbott becomes a member of WIAPS
MJ Abbott Limited has successfully gained accreditation and become an Approved Groundworker under the Water Industry Approved Plumbers Scheme (WIAPS), formally recognising our ability to install external pipework in accordance with The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.

Training and assessment was undertaken at our Dinton training facility by David Hollex, Regional Regulations Officer for Wessex Water. Five members of staff were assessed on their knowledge and understanding of The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 relating to external ground works and water supply installation.
This formalisation of our existing knowledge and experience strengthens MJ Abbott's commitment to carrying out water supply works in accordance with the relevant regulations for both public and private water supply systems.
