Extra WRc Sewers for Adoption 7 workshop set for Swindon
Having exhibited at each of the three October workshops, exclusive UK distributor for FABEKUN® Junctions, MJ Abbott Limited of Dinton, Salisbury, is to exhibit at the extra regional workshop to launch the new 7th Edition of Sewers for Adoption (SfA7), to be held by WRc at the National Build Centre in Swindon on Monday 12th November.

Last month WRc held three regional workshops in Cardiff, London and Manchester to launch the new 7th Edition of Sewers for Adoption (SfA7) and examine the future of sewer and drain adoption. Due to high public demand, WRc has now organised an additional workshop to be held at the National Build Centre in Swindon on Monday 12th November.
Due to the changes in legislation, a new edition of Sewers for Adoption, the 7th Edition, was published in Autumn 2012. One of the key changes in the document is the inclusion of design guidance for smaller drain and sewer systems near to buildings, which have not previously been adopted. The changes are therefore some of the biggest changes made to SfA for many years.
Sewers for Adoption is the definitive guide for those planning, designing and constructing sewers and pumping stations for adoption by water companies in England and Wales under Section 104 of the Water Industry Act. This workshop will clarify the changes in legislation and is relevant to those who lay sewers or drains, design or specify drainage networks, and manufacture or distribute drainage or sewer products.
Having exhibited at each of the earlier three workshops, MJ Abbott will be exhibiting at the Swindon workshop alongside Funke Gruppe of Germany, manufacturers of the FABEKUN® Junction.
