Landscaping works to complete a building project in just two weeks
Award winning local practice, The Classic Architecture Company, designed a stunning barn conversion with outside swimming pool nestled in the rolling Wiltshire countryside near Tisbury. As the project deadline approached MJ Abbott were contracted to complete a comprehensive drainage, irrigation and landscape scheme in just two weeks.
Working very closely with the architect and renowned swimming pool designers Spruce Services Ltd, the project included:
- Design of a land drainage and automatic irrigation system
- Hard landscaping around the pool area and the barn conversion using natural stone
- Cut and fill earthworks to level the soft landscaped areas
- Installation of the land drainage system
- Installation of a Rain Bird landscape irrigation system to cover the lawn and planting areas
- The irrigation system is fed by rainwater harvesting and the hard structures are low profile in accordance with strict planning conditions
- Laying 2,000m² of Arena Bargold turf supplied by the Tillers Turf Company.
With an immovable tight deadline of only two weeks, the project was successfully completed on both time and budget and to the very high expectations of the client.
