We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile full-time individual skilled in Accounts Payable to process our purchase ledger function. We are looking for a focused individual to control, process and post our supplier invoices.
This position offers a unique opportunity for a finance professional to specialise in purchase ledger while maintaining the flexibility to contribute to broader financial activities.
The successful candidate will play an integral part in achieving the Company goals, with a key focus for the Finance team being full digitalisation of the current processes.

- Computer literate, Microsoft Office, experienced or willing to be trained in different software packages.

- A problem solver who enjoys the investigative process.
- The ability to adapt and cover various finance functions as needed.
- To be proactive always looking to improve processes and procedures.
- Full driving licence required.
Principal Responsibilities:
- To support the Purchase Ledger Manager in Purchase Ledger processes.
- Process, review and post supplier invoices daily.
- Matching delivery notes to purchase orders.
- Collaborating with other team members to clarify any purchasing queries.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements, chasing copies of any missing invoices.
- Dealing with supplier queries.
- Raising price queries from invoice processing.
- Creating supplier payment runs.
- Processing proformas and one-off payment requests.
- Assisting with external auditor queries.
- Supporting the Financial Controller and the Finance Director with business accounting activities as required.
- To be flexible and carry out any duties which we reasonably consider to be within your capabilities, and which may be required of you.
Desired experience:
- AAT qualified is preferred.
- Proven experience in Purchase Ledger – professional training or apprenticeships are offered.
- Proficient in excel including strong formula and reporting skills.
Full Time – Monday to Friday 40 hours over 5 days, with half an hour off for lunch.
