Industrial Electrician

About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified and motivated electrician to join our expanding Electrical and Water Engineering team. You will work on exciting golf course and sports ground projects throughout the UK, installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing industrial electrical systems associated with pumping installations.

This is a varied role that includes working with pumping systems, motors, control panels and variable speed drives, alongside experienced electrical and water engineers. The position involves regular travel throughout the UK and staying away from home when required.

Key Responsibilities Required:

  • Install, test and commission electrical installations.
  • Install, fault find and maintain pumps, motors and pumping systems.
  • Wire, commission and troubleshoot electrical control panels.
  • Install, program and diagnose variable speed drives (VSDs).
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Work closely with our water engineering and pipe fitting team.
  • Complete projects safely and to a high standard.
  • Represent the company professionally when working on customer sites.

(TRAINING CAN BE PROVIDED)

Essential Required:

  • Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required.
  • Good fault-finding skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
