Accounts Aggregates Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance team. Working closely with the financial controller, you’ll play a vital role in providing accurate, timely financial information to support confident decision making across the senior management team.

You’ll be based just outside of Salisbury, with occasional travel to subsidiaries around the country.

Key Skills Required:

  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Structured and focused
  • A good team player that is willing to support and assist constructively, whilst able to work independently
  • A problem solver who enjoys the investigative process
  • Computer literate, Microsoft Office, experienced or willing to be trained in different software packages
  • Full driving licence required

Principal Responsibilities:

Sitting within the accounts team, key responsibilities are:

  • Reviewing purchase invoices against purchase orders on the accounting software
  • Amending the purchase and sales orders to reflect actual quantities received
  • Delivering the goods into and out of the accounting software
  • Helping the aggregates team enter sales and purchase orders where necessary
  • Dealing with supplier and customer queries

Desired experience:

  • Proven experience within a finance/accounting team
  • AAT qualified is preferred
  • Stock accounting experience
  • Proficient in Excel
