MJ Abbott has superb facilities at our base in Dinton near Salisbury, which are used to support all our activities and are also available to customers.
Fabrication workshop
Our Fabrication Workshop has tools and equipment to carry out many operations for fabrication and manufacture of machinery:
- MMA, MIG and TIG welding
- Plasma cutting
- Colchester lathe for metal turning
- Bandsaw
- Pipe cutting and threading up to 150mm
- Radial arm drill
- Metal working machine (GEKA Microcrop)
- Shot blasting
- Hydraulic press
Maintenance Workshop
Our extensive fleet of plant and vehicles is maintained in our well-equipped maintenance workshop. We have a Stertil Koni 7 tonne capacity 4-post vehicle lift, a full length pit to enable inspection and maintenance of LGV trailers, and a full exhaust fume extraction system.
Electrical Workshop
Our electrical workshop has the complete range of electrical test equipment to support the manufacture and testing of electrical control panels and electrical systems.
