Primary Drainage Systems

Primary piped land drainage systems form the infrastructure for any subsequent secondary systems by removing groundwater through a network of pipes to an outfall.

We offer a full system design service together with costing and feasibility surveys. System installation is carried out utilising specialist trenching machinery guided by laser level controls. Continuous chain trenchers or spinning wheel type trenchers are utilised depending on the ground conditions and drain depth requirements. Both trencher types are fitted with soil loading conveyors and low ground pressure equipment.

Secondary Drainage Systems

Secondary drainage systems intercept surface water and convey it rapidly to the lateral drains of the primary system. This ensures that playing surfaces are usable as soon as possible following heavy rainfall. Typical secondary drainage operations are sand slitting, gravel/lytag/sand banding, and ground breaking.

We have the specialist equipment to carry out all these operations, as well as subsurface aeration and sand top dressing. All equipment is fitted with low ground pressure tyres to ensure minimal compaction to the playing surface.

Installation is carried out by our experienced installation teams utilising our unrivalled fleet of specialist machinery. Great care is taken to minimise the impact of the installation and to ensure that reinstatement is carried out to the highest standards.

Our systems incorporate the latest technology for water efficiency and system control, such as automatic weather stations and radio remote control systems. We are pro-active and we pride ourselves on our ability to offer realistic and effective solutions to any problems that may arise.

Irrigation System Maintenance & Irrigation Service Contracts

We offer a prompt and efficient maintenance service ensuring the reliability and longevity of every irrigation system that we install. We have a team of fully experienced mobile service engineers based throughout the country in order to reduce call out times.

Maintenance can be arranged via an annual service contract or on a pay-as-you-go basis. We also offer technical assistance via remote connection to the on-site control system PC. We stock a comprehensive range of irrigation components and spare parts in our stores for same-day despatch.
